Bodhràn

The Bodhrán is the typical drum used in traditional Irish music. It is a frame drum played with a single beater.
My Bodhráns are available with either a bent shell or the so-called barrel construction, and the head is nailed on, as is known from traditional Bodhráns, in one or more rows.

Tabor

Tabor, also tabar inOld French, is a group of historical double skinned cylindrical drums. In the European Middle Ages, the player usually played the tabor with his right hand together with a one-handed flute with three finger holes which he operated with his left hand.

In prehistoric Central Europe, we frequently encounter ceramic rattles of various kinds.
They exhibit very different shapes and can be filled with small stones or small ceramic beads.

Ceramic Drum

This drum is a accurate reconstruction of the artifact found in Inzersdorf an der Treisen (Lower Austria) dating back to the late Bronze Age. It consists of a ceramic shell with the drum head on one end. Drums of this type have been known since the Neolithic.
